If your Vattendance is not online check the following:

Log into the Vattendance Portal and check the status of the PBX on the main page.

ONLINE- Move onto number 5
OFFLINE - Move onto number 2

Example of an offline PBX

Is the PBX powering up correctly? (Check if there is a light illuminated at the back of the PBX, under the Ethernet cable?

YES - Move onto number 3
NO - Replace power adapter. The specifications needed are 12v 1a with a 2.5mm connector. This is an example of an adapter that would work.

Can you currently get access to the internet?

YES – Move onto number 4
NO – Restart your router and troubleshoot the internet connection. Vattendance will not work without internet.

Is the Ethernet cable connected between the PBX and the router? Both the yellow and green lights under the PBX Ethernet port should be illuminated and flashing.

YES – Move to number 5 (it may be worthwhile trying a different ethernet cable anyway)
NO – Reconnect or replace Ethernet cable.

Restart the PBX by pulling the power cable out, waiting twenty seconds and plugging it back in. Check the Vattendance Web Portal Status Page to see if the PBX comes online. Try dialling your Vattendance phone number after about 5 minutes.

NOTE: If the orange light below the Ethernet port is not flashing after a reboot of the PBX, please contact Vattendance Support.

Remove the USB answering button from the PBX and then try restarting the PBX again. Check the Vattendance Web Portal Status Page to see if the PBX comes online. Try dialling your Vattendance phone number after about 5 minutes.

NOTE: If this fixes the issue, please contact Vattendance support as we may need to send you a new answering button.

Take the PBX home and plug it into your router at home. You will need the power adapter and an ethernet cable also. Does this bring your phone number online?

YES - Further troubleshooting of your Kingdom Hall network required
NO - Move onto number 8
